Spotify Download Music Not Working On Phone

Please consider Liking and subscribing - notepad -. Spotify: in the last two weeks i havent been able to search for new music (when i go 'online' over wifi) with my Spotify app, to save onto my Nokia Lumia 735. Everything else seems to work fine. I have the latest Windows 10 update on the phone (Jan 2019). I am able to redownload previosly saved albums, but it won't let me find new music on line. First, check the download status. The green arrow indicates a successful download. If the arrow's gray, check out 'Not downloading?' If the arrow's green, try switching on Offline Mode. Spotify ends support for Windows Phone app?

Spotify App Not Working

'We can confirm Windows Phone 8.x is no longer supported. You can still use our Spotify application on the associated devices, but it will no longer receive any further updates and download the application. We apologize for the inconvenience.' posted by Twitter user Alessandro S in 2016.

However, Spotify has since clarified matters: they are still supporting the app on Windows Phone, adding that it has no plans to give up on Windows Phone yet. In fact Windows Phone 8.1 or Windows 10 Mobile owners still expect that the Spotify will keep running smoothly until then.
